Walking in the land of Ten Thousand Buddhas and feeling Myanmar

First impression of Myanmar

Walking barefoot on the hot ground of the pagodas in Pugan, I smell the smell of meat baked by my feet. I began to ask myself, why? Why did you choose to come to Myanmar? What kind of courage let me this season come?

Myanmar is a country where I have been planting grass for many years. Over the years, the key words in my mind are photography, hot air balloon, pagoda and humanities. My understanding of Myanmar is that it is a very suitable country for photography and a paradise for us landscape and humanities lovers. Every day here, I also have the feeling that my body is in hell and my eyes are in heaven. Maybe we can also experience the practice of ascetics.

Myanmar is relatively backward in Southeast Asian countries, but for travelers, the weather is not hard except this season, because as early as seven or eight years ago, I heard friends say: Myanmar's hotels are really wonderful. So, this time we also experienced many wonderful hotels.

My favorite place on this trip is the cool yinlai lake. The beautiful double rainbow makes our journey shining. Next time I come back, I will live in yinlai lake for a while and slowly enjoy this wonderful moment.

Of course, the most moving part of Myanmar's culture is the explosion of camera cards. This is Myanmar in our mind!

About me and my good drinkers

This trip is due to the sudden fantasy of my good drinker @ Sophie and I diving in lanmeng island at the end of July! Looking back at the end of July in lanmeng Island, we're both crazy. It's just... The garbage cans in the hotel are not enough for our beer cans every day! It's said that it's no pity to have a confidant in my life. What's more, this confidant can accompany me to dive, drink, photograph and brag. I haven't met such a good friend for a long time. Sometimes it's like looking at myself when I look at her! So after lammon Island, we made an appointment with Myanmar to drink up Myanmar's wine. Of course, we didn't disappoint each other. Photography and travel were the second. Every day, we had a good time drinking wine. For eight days, we contributed to the development of beer industry in Myanmar. All the dollars in our pocket were handed in. Sophie's face turned round, I can't button up my pants any more... When I went home, even my father saw me and said, "Why are you so fat..." hehe, they all said that women are made of water, and Sophie and I must be made of wine! However, the most important thing is to be happy, isn't it! Lose weight or something, after drinking this cup, let's talk about it tomorrow!

By the way, I forget to say that this trip to Myanmar is a whim, because Sophie had been here before and felt very beautiful, and I planted grass for many years, so when she talked about Myanmar, I said: go, go! It's not until I came here that I found that this season is really not suitable for traveling. It can make Chongqing people hot to the heat stroke season, and there is no hot air balloon to look forward to! But the off-season travel is very good, that is, the travel is very cheap, from air tickets to hotel prices are gratifying! And we are very easygoing, for what can be photographed to the day, we have a drink on the line!

Useful information on Myanmar travel

About transportation: Chongqing has direct flights to Yangon, which is very convenient. In addition, many cities in China have direct flights to Yangon or Mandalay! As for Myanmar's internal transportation, those who want to save money can choose trains, those who want to save trouble can choose chartered cars, and those who don't have enough time can choose domestic flights. In addition to public transportation in Rangoon and Mandalay, Bugan basically relies on chartered cars, and yinlai lake is a boat. In particular, there are airports in the capitals of eight provinces and eight states in Myanmar. Most of the aircrafts on duty are small aircrafts with atr72 or atr42 propellers. Myanmar's major airlines include Myanmar International Airport, air Yangon, air Mandalay, air Bagan, air KBZ and Asian wing airline. These airlines all have websites, but they can't make online booking. The only useful thing is to check their respective routing maps to determine whether there are flights arriving at your planned destination, In addition, the flight plans of airlines are basically changed once a quarter, so try to find a travel agency to arrange for you, and the one-way cost of each city is basically less than $100. The main airports in Myanmar are: Yangon International Airport, Myanmar's aviation hub, and 34 routes leading to major cities in the country. Mandalay International Airport Mandalay International Airport is the second largest airport and the second International Airport in Myanmar, serving Mandalay. Nyaung u airport the nyaung u airport is located in the town of Bugan Liangwu. Most cities in Myanmar have flights to and from nyaung u airport. Heihe airport is the nearest airport to yinlai lake. There are flights between Yangon, Pugan, Mandalay and other places, at least one flight per day.

About communication: over the years, I have been using roaming treasure to travel all over the world. Of course, friends who don't want to bring WiFi can also buy local phone cards. Myanmar's network speed can reach 4G, which is the fastest in Southeast Asian countries!

About the weather: Myanmar's terrain is long and narrow. It borders Yunnan in the north and the weather is cooler. However, at present, the north of Myanmar is not safe enough and it is not recommended to go there. Most of the other places in Myanmar are relatively hot, and only the yinlai lake is relatively cool. It is suggested that friends who want to go to yinlai Lake take a coat with them. If you come to Myanmar in winter, it's the peak season in Myanmar. The weather is better and it's not so hot, so yinlai lake will be colder. About Burmese culture and dress: Myanmar is a big Buddhist country with many pagodas and temples. It is recommended that you abide by local laws and customs. When you enter a temple, you should not expose your shoulders, chest, navel and other parts of your upper body too much, and your lower body should not expose above your knees. In short, it's best to wear long pants and conservative short sleeves. In addition, whether you enter the pagoda temple or water workshop, you always need to take off your slippers. It's better to wear slippers when you visit. It's more convenient. The local cage base is very good-looking and convenient. I suggest you buy one or two. Even if you wear shorts and skirts, you can walk in when you enter the temple and take photos. About language: the local people speak Burmese and English. Most of the hotels, restaurants, scenic spots and drivers can speak English, but ordinary people often can't understand it. However, the local people are very enthusiastic and willing to help tourists find people who can speak English. It's better to find a hotel clerk before going out and write down the scenic spots or addresses in Burmese on paper, which can save a lot of trouble. In addition, to say hello in Burmese, use "mingela bar". If you learn this sentence well, you won't be afraid to travel all over Myanmar. On the level of consumption in Myanmar: Generally speaking, Myanmar is cheap in Southeast Asia. Except for five-star hotels, the basic consumption level is similar to that of China's third and fourth tier cities. In addition, different off-season and peak season, the level of consumption will be different. Take Rangoon, where prices are relatively high, as an example, the two-star hotel in the downtown is about $30 in the off-season, and it is likely to rise to $60 in the peak season. For ordinary restaurants, a breakfast with noodles, fried dough sticks and milk tea costs 500 Kia, while a fried rice with beef and eggs and a can of Burmese beer costs 2000 Kia. About Myanmar currency: Myanmar currency unit is "Myanmar dollar", English kyat, pronunciation is "Kiya". However, in Myanmar, the US dollar is the currency in general circulation, and most businesses are willing to accept it. Myanmar dollar is only used in small restaurants, roadside stalls and other low consumption places. Kyat can't be exchanged in China, so it can only be exchanged at home for us dollars to be carried to Myanmar (or RMB can be exchanged directly). It should be noted that the Burmese people are very strict with the US dollar. They only accept the US dollar version after 2006, which is clean and free from stains and creases. The currency exchange rate is the most cost-effective in Yangon. If you want to travel to other cities in Myanmar, you must exchange enough money in Rangoon before you leave. 2. Currency exchange rate: the exchange rate in US dollars is the highest, and the exchange rate in US dollars with a face value of 100 US dollars is the highest. 3. The currency exchange rate is the lowest on Monday and the highest on Thursday, so if you want to exchange a lot of currencies, don't choose Monday, try to exchange on Thursday. 4. Don't exchange all your dollars at once, because you can also use dollars directly for hotel, shopping mall and scenic spot tickets. About visa: Myanmar can apply for affixing visa in advance, or apply for electronic visa directly on the website, or apply for landing visa. Myanmar electronic signature is undoubtedly the most convenient https://evisa.moip.gov.mm/ Fill in all the information as required.

Ruiguang pagoda is located on the mountain of St. dingudala on the Bank of Inya Lake. It is a landmark building in Yangon. It is one of the "three historic sites in Southeast Asia". It is also a scenic spot that all visitors to Yangon can't miss. There are entrances to the pagoda in four directions. There are two huge stone lions at the main entrance. You can only reach the platform by climbing more than 100 marble steps. In addition to wrapping the outer layer of the main tower with gold foil, the top of the tower is also inlaid with numerous gems. There are dozens of pagodas with different shapes around the main pagoda. The shapes of each pagoda are different, and even the materials used are different. There are golden roofs and white walls, all of them are made of broken glass, and some of them are made of pure solid wood and painted with gold paint. There is also a special room for people to chant sutras. It is about 500 or 600 square meters. During the day, monks chant sutras here. At night, many people who have no place to live will choose to spend the night here. Ruixi palace tower is located on the East Bank of Irrawaddy River. It is the oldest temple in Pugan and the only stone building in Pugan. Together with Ruiguang gold pagoda, it is one of the four sacred pagodas in Myanmar. The construction of this pagoda went through the periods of two kings, anawrahta (1044-1077) and kyansittha (1084-1113). It is the founding tower of the Pugan Dynasty, the source of Myanmar pagodas, and a typical representative of early architecture. Walk up from the roofed corridor, with the names and amounts of the donors written on the walls on both sides. At the end of the platform, is similar to Yangon big gold pagoda reduced version of the gold Ruixi palace tower. The tower is surrounded by 53 sculptures, including lion, mogaro, and toad. There is a small square temple on each side of the tower, in which there is a small bronze Buddha. The pagoda is famous among the believers for its offering of Buddhist relics and Buddha's forehead ornaments from India. After sunset, the pagoda lights up, so visitors who arrive at night or early in the morning will see it at first sight. How to get there: starting from niangwu Town, go straight along the main road of lanmadaw Road, pass by the bus station, walk about 200 meters, and you can see the pagoda on the right. Opening hours: 4:00-22:00 website: http://www.shwedagonpagoda.com Recommended index: five stars

Htilominlo pahto, also known as the "Temple of shilongminlo", was built in 1211 under the rule of htilominlo. It is one of the last big temples built in Pugan and is the last Burmese style Pagoda Temple in Pugan. There is also a small story about the construction of the tower of dilamin lofo. It is said that king Pugan, who built the pagoda temple, built his pagoda temple here because he was made Prince from five brothers here. Far away from the pagoda, you can see the temple of Shilong minluo standing in the field. The temple is 46 meters high, and the beautiful appearance made of red brick is still elegant despite the wind and rain. Although the pagoda temple was damaged in the 1975 earthquake, it has been well renovated. Many of the original murals are still available for tourists to watch. The temple is divided into three levels. Four Buddha statues facing different directions can be seen on the first level and the top level. On the outside of the pagoda, you can also enjoy the exquisite plaster molds and sandstone decorations. On the walls, you can see the pictures of the heavenly palace painted to protect the temple from damage. All passers-by were impressed by the night lights and radio chanting of the temple. Admission: you need to pay $20 to enter Pugan scenic area. Recommended index: four stars. 4. Carriage tour pagoda

A carriage is about 25000k / day, which can take three people. The carriage was clean, with a roof to keep out the sun. The coach master knows the tour route very well and will take you to the most classic scenic spot. Parking at the entrance of the scenic spot is the best choice for you to visit Pugan. If you don't want to cover the whole day, you can only cover half a day or just cruise for an hour or two at sunset. Recommended index: Five Stars 5

After you can't climb the pagoda, you can choose to watch the sunset on two small slopes. The vision is almost the same, because there is no better choice, so... Don't miss Pugan's sunset! Recommended index: five stars 6

Watch the palm sugar production workshop. Those who are interested in the local handicraft industry can go there. Recommended index: four stars 7. Dhammayangyi Temple

Favorite temple in the whole trip! It was built by narathu (1167-1170) in 1170. The base of the pagoda is square, with a side length of 90 meters and a height of 48.8 meters. The passage inside the pagoda leads directly to the top of the pagoda. It is the most magnificent Pagoda in Pugan. You can see the brick red pagoda from anywhere in Pugan, which is the representative of brick pagoda. The whole structure is modeled on Ananda temple, but because the king was assassinated before completion, the top of the tower has not been built so far. The local people also call it the tower of doom. It is precisely because there is no top, so the appearance is different from many other pagodas of Pugan. From a distance, it looks like the pyramids of Egypt. There are several legends about the assassination of the king. One is because naladu killed his wife, the daughter of the Indian king paterkaya, and was killed by the Indian king. Another theory is that naradu died of an assassin from Sri Lanka. The whole temple adopts the design of cloister and double windows to let the air flow inside the pagoda, which is naturally bright. The inner ring has been sealed after the earthquake and is no longer allowed to enter. Inside the west gate of the temple, there are two statues of Buddha sitting side by side. They are Sakyamuni and Maitreya Buddha. They are said to represent naladu and his father. On the back, there is a small Reclining Buddha. At that time, the requirements of the construction were extremely high. If there were cracks between the bricks, the workers would be cut off, and the instruments of torture still remain in the temple. So during the 1975 earthquake, other Buddhist pagodas were damaged to varying degrees, while the damayanji temple was intact. Opening hours: 8:00-18:00 recommended index: super five star 8. Ananda Temple

Ananda temple was built by King gyansittha in 1091. It belongs to the early integrated architecture of pagoda and temple. It is the most complete and beautiful Buddhist temple in Pugan. It is also known as the first Pagoda in Pugan. Its construction technology greatly surpasses the previous pagoda, and the construction is integrated with the unique style of Myanmar. The temple is square, symbolizing balance and harmony. There are four long corridors around the temple, and each corridor leads to the middle yard. The yard is large, covering nearly 100 mu, full of bright flowers. The center of the courtyard is Ananda pagoda, whose base is a square large Buddha cave in Indian style. There are two doors in the southeast, northwest and inside, there is a Buddha about 10 meters high. On the base of the tower stands a tower more than 70 meters high, very tall and magnificent. In every corner of the outer wall of the tower, there is a statue of the first two bodies. The corridor walls of the pagoda are densely inlaid with thousands of Golden Buddha statues. Under the sunlight shining through the skylight on the top, the pagoda solemnly lowers its head and overlooks the people at its feet. In the four directions of the tower, there is a standing Golden Buddha about 10 meters high, each with a different posture, representing a different meaning. Every morning, the local people and many pilgrims come all the way to worship and offer flowers, which is very special. At night, the light illuminates the top of the golden pagoda. It is bright and can be seen from a distance. It is also considered as the symbol of Pugan. Ananda temple was built in the middle of the Pugan Dynasty. At this time, the craftsmen had accumulated rich construction experience in the long-term practice. Compared with the simple and crude Pagoda in the early period, it had a qualitative leap in terms of bricklaying, masonry mixing, lighting and ventilation. What's more, designers no longer merely imitate, but integrate Myanmar traditional factors into the construction, forming their own characteristics. Ananda tower is the representative of architecture in this period. Each side of Ananda pagoda is about 60 meters long, and the main tower is 51.24 meters high. The tower is round with a sharp top, covered with yellow gold foil and inlaid with numerous dazzling jewels. It is extremely eye-catching and dignified in the sunshine. The base of the tower is an Indian style square grotto. There are 1183 relief sculptures on the outer wall of the cave and the tower base, which are based on the story of the Buddha. There are holes on both sides of the wall of the passage in the cave, and there are 1304 Buddha statues inside. The main tower is surrounded by small towers, Buddha statues and statues of various animals and monsters. The whole tower is exquisite, complex and orderly, and it is the essence of Burma's ancient architectural art. How to get there: go straight from lanmadaw Avenue in niangwu town. You will see many pagodas on the road until you see the sign of Ananda beside the road. Turn left to leave the asphalt road and enter the dirt road. Within 200 meters, you can see a white pagoda with a golden top. This is Ananda temple. Opening hours: 7:30-11:00, 13:00-16:00 admission: the whole Pugan scenic area needs to pay $15 to enter, and you need to pay 30-100 Kia for taking photos in Ananda temple. Recommended index: five stars 9. Dinner for puppet show

It's on the main street from niangwu town to laopugan, not far from bagan house. The restaurant is built on the basis of a destroyed old pagoda. The entrance is the gate of the pagoda. Burmese food and Western food are the main food. There are set meals and the taste is average. However, it is very famous because there is a free puppet show at 19:30 every evening. The boss stayed abroad and then returned to Myanmar, so his English is very good and easy to communicate. Business hours: 10:00-21:00 per capita consumption: about 9000k, but there is a 20% service charge. Recommended index: four star Mandalay part: 1. Mahamuni pagoda mahamuni pagoda

Located 3 km south of the city center of Mandalay, the temple is famous for its four meter high bronze gilded Buddha statue, which is said to have been opened by the Buddha. It is one of the most important pilgrimages in Myanmar. There is a huge pool in the temple. The pagoda is reflected on the water, which is magnificent. The temple is composed of a variety of pagoda groups. In addition to the bell shaped pagodas commonly seen in other areas, there are also pyramid shaped square pagodas (which are very rare in southern Myanmar and are found in Bugan). In the small hall outside, you can see the triangle Gong and six bronze statues. Local people believe that if a couple repeat the same words three times when the Gong rings, it means they are destined partners. It is said that the bronze statue was cast in Cambodia in the 12th century. It was originally placed in Angkor Wat. After several twists and turns, it was finally brought back to Myanmar as a trophy. Local people believe that rubbing the bronze statue in the same position as their own disease can cure the disease. The corridor leading to the main hall, in addition to the exquisite wood carvings painted with gold paint like all temples, the lower half of the pillars of the corridor are all inlaid with square jade. In the middle of the main hall, you can see the Buddha inlaid with gold. Many believers are pasting gold foil on the Buddha's body to pray for the protection of the gods. Because many people are pasting gold foil, you can see that the surface of the Buddha's body is full of concave and convex gold nuggets, and the thickest place is more than 16 cm. Address: bobahto Road, between 82th street and 84th Street (view map) way of arrival: 2000k-5000k by taxi in the city; You can take blue pickup No.1 at the station beside Liangyi market and get off at mahamuni paya station. Opening hours: 3:00-17:00. Admission: an additional 5000K is required. Not included in the $10 pass recommended index: five stars

The pagoda is between Mandalay mountain and Mandalay palace, not far from shandamuni temple. It is also a group of white pagodas, with a gourd shape at the top. The pagoda was built in 1857. Its full name is maharoja marosheng pagoda. It is also called "the largest merit Pagoda in the world" by Myanmar. The reason why gudu pagoda is very famous is that when it was completed, King Mindong summoned 2400 eminent monks from all over the Indochina Peninsula to complete the fifth revision meeting of Buddhist scriptures. These revised Buddhist scriptures were carved on 729 marble steles in Pali script, and later generations built small white pagodas around each stele. These scriptures are known as "the largest books in the world" because of their complete content and large scale (it is said that it takes a year and a half for a person to read these scriptures eight hours a day). In addition to the white pagodas containing scriptures, each entrance of gudu pottery is made of teak, mainly bright red and gold (this combination is rare in other pagodas in Myanmar), and carved with Buddhist legends and statues. There is a big tree in the yard. Many people will take pictures of it. It is said that it is an old 118 year old tree. Address: 62nd street, between 10th Street and 11street (located in the northeast of the palace and at the south entrance at the foot of Mandalay mountain) (check the map) way of arrival: about 5-10 minutes' walk from Mandalay mountain, grand palace or shandamuni temple. Opening hours: 7:30-18:00. Admission: included in the $10 pass. Recommended index: Wuxing 3. U bein Bridge

Wuben bridge is located in the ancient city of amarapula. It was built in 1856 and has a total length of 1200 meters. It is also one of the longest wooden bridges in the world. The whole bridge is made of teak, the most famous teak in Myanmar. After years, it can still be used normally. The bridge was built because East Taman lake is a seasonal lake. In rainy season, when the lake water rises, it will submerge the surrounding area. In order to solve the traffic difficulties, King Mindong built the bridge. King Mindong's devotion to Buddhism is no less than that of other kings, so even if he built such a bridge, he had to add six rest pavilions for shelter from the wind and rain to reflect the "Six Harmonies" spirit of Buddhism; Living with others: not infringing others in behavior; Oral harmony without criticism: verbal harmony without criticism; Yihe Tongyue: like-minded in spirit; See and understand: build consensus in thought; Profit and equity: balanced distribution in economy). Burmese also call uben bridge a "lover's bridge". They think that if the two lovers pray here, they can achieve the harmony and mutual respect required by the "Six Harmonies spirit" and their love can last longer. In the evening, you can also take a boat to watch the sunset from a distance on the river. The afterglow sprinkles on this century old building, unspeakable peace. Way of arrival: there is a pickup truck at the junction of 84th street and 30th Street, which costs about 400k; Taxi from the city to here 5000k-8000k; 20 000 K-40 000 K for car charter; You can also walk from mahaganda Yang monastery. After watching the sunset, there may be no car to return to the city, so it is recommended to ask the driver the return time after arriving at uben bridge by car. Opening hours: all day tickets: free; Charter a boat to watch the sunset on the lake, and the lowest cost is 10000K for the whole boat (the cost for more than four people plus one person is 2000K). Recommended index: five star yinlai Lake part: 1. Lunch restaurant Mr. toe can watch dragon boat race

Recommended index: Five Stars 2. Phaung Daw OO paya five Buddha Temple

The largest temple in yinlai Lake District is built on an island in a small town in the south of yinlai. There are five small Buddha statues in this Buddhist temple. Now the Buddha statues have been covered with gold foil and become five golden "pimples". The temple is surrounded by the residential center of local people in the whole yinlai Lake area. Every Friday, the open space behind the temple turns into a "Friday market", which is larger than the usual water market and very busy. From September to October every year, yinlai lake will usher in a grand phaung Daw OO Festival. The five golden Buddhas will be carried by gold-plated Phoenix boats for a grand cruise ceremony. Admission: free Recommendation Index: Five Stars 3. KHiT sun Yin lotus, silk & cotton weaving workshop

For those who like handicrafts, the whole workshop is very suitable for taking photos. Recommended index: five stars 4. Shwe Inn tain pagoda reintai pagoda

The famous ancient pagodas in indein village pass through a long corridor about 670 meters long, with dilapidated pagodas on both sides. Built around 273-232 B.C. during the reign of King Pugan, there are steps in the East and south of the pagoda group. The stone steps with a ceiling in the East are about 670 meters (2200 steps), reaching the pagoda group. Because of the weather, some of them have gone astray, others have been rebuilt. From here you can overlook the beautiful scenery of yinlai lake and the valley. Address: khaung taing Road, nyaungshwe, Myanmar (Burma) (check the map) way of arrival: after boating from yinlai lake to yinting village, it is within walking distance. Travel diary: Yangon is hot and sunny

Sophie and I are both travelers. We never stop traveling all year round. The night before we came to Myanmar, we went home from other places to change our suitcases, and then we flew again the next day. We were used to this rhythm! So on the first day of a trip, we don't plan any itinerary, because it's very likely that the time difference can't be reversed... Fortunately, the time difference of all places we've been to in recent months hasn't exceeded 3 hours. I'm glad that there is a direct flight to Yangon in Chongqing. I arrived at the hotel one step earlier than Sophie from Guangzhou. All the first day's journey was to sleep and drink in the hotel! The first thing to do when you go to the hotel is to go to a nearby convenience store to buy wine. I have to say that the location of the hotel is very good, facing the Royal Lake. The scenery is very good and the room is very large. If you insist on saying something bad, the location of the convenience store is a little remote. It's only five minutes' walk from the side of the hotel to the right, The road condition is not very good, and it is too quiet, which always makes me a little scared when I first arrive in Myanmar. I sent a message to Sophie saying that I risked my life to buy wine, but she directly laughed at me: I tell you, Myanmar is very, very safe. After all, other people have faith and there is no such thing as petty theft! Well, it seems that I'm taking the heart of a villain as the belly of a gentleman! The facts behind prove that Myanmar travel is really safe... It's afternoon when Sophie arrives. After a simple wash, we rush to the bar of the hotel without hesitation. For photographers, the best time to miss is the sunrise time in the morning and sunset time in the evening. For two patients with severe alcohol, the best time to miss is the happy hour every afternoon. Buy one and get one free! After all, we didn't miss every afternoon in lanmeng island!

If the meaning of travel is to experience the local food and beauty, then for us, wine sighing is absolutely the most important part of travel. We can clearly tell whether the beer is good in every place we have been, whether the alcohol level is appropriate, how well the bartenders in the hotels we have stayed, and even whether the price of wine in every restaurant we have eaten is reasonable. If I leave the wine, I probably don't know how to travel!

Happy time is always short, wake up, it's time to go out to take photos! I didn't expect that the first day of my trip would be so hard... Ha ha ~ I made my own itinerary and had to walk on my knees... It was me. I mistakenly estimated the weather. I thought that we two scenic dogs, carrying dozens of kilograms of equipment for a long time, could walk from morning to night and even drag the baby. It was so friendly for us to walk this way. Sorry, I didn't say it was in the high temperature of 40 degrees! Say good rainy season, the rain did not come, the sun when the head, sweat all over the run, who do not laugh at me!

There are many colonial buildings in Yangon, which can be completed with feet. Of course, I didn't say the walking time, which is about three or four hours... If the weather is cool, it is really recommended to measure the city with feet. And we really walk like ascetics.

Yangon is the most economically developed city in Myanmar, so it doesn't look like "Myanmar". Many European buildings are very eye-catching, and they look good under the blue sky and white clouds!

Of course, under the exquisite architecture, all kinds of vendors and people at rest are especially beautiful. I like these pictures very much.

After walking a complete colonial complex, I lost most of my life. After all, the outdoor temperature was almost 40 degrees. After walking for three or four hours in such an environment, Sophie and I could hardly speak! Sorry, I don't want to say that I'm a scenery dog any more. At the moment, I just want to be a hotel controller and stay in the hotel from morning to night... But we can't stop because we bought tickets for the train around the city... We have to finish the itinerary on our knees! Yangon's ring railway is not a regular tourist route, but a real means of transportation for local residents. Therefore, don't ask for luxury cars. There are only the most local scenery and residents' life here. Of course, there are air-conditioned cars on the ring railway, but the air-conditioned cars obviously can't experience the life of the local people, so we resolutely bought ordinary tickets.

There are almost no tourists on the train. They are all local residents. The funniest thing is that I saw the train carefully, and it turned out to be Jr of Japan??? I'm not dazzled. The car is full of JR signs, and even the previous stop signs. And the train I was on used to run the Shenglong road line in central Japan. I turned my head and looked at Sophie in surprise. Sophie didn't lift her eyelids and said to me: normal, Japan occupied Myanmar! Ah..... The project is big enough to bring the obsolete trains here

I don't know why, Myanmar's trains are the same as Sri Lanka's, they don't close, so... We start to "pick trains" again! Well, I didn't pick, I just sat by the door! After all, there was the same photo in Sri Lanka last year.

The picture below shows the train photo of Sri Lanka.

No comparison, I don't think my hair has grown so much in a year..... The car is really full of life atmosphere. There are vegetable sellers and fruit sellers, which is very similar to China's green car!

Myanmar people's local snacks, taste should be very good, because we have bought such bags of rice noodles, it is Sichuan flavor, delicious I call Niang!

We didn't finish the route around the city, we just took a few stops to experience it. The whole route around the city takes three hours!

Leaving from the railway station, our journey is not over yet, and the most famous Ruiguang gold Pagoda in Yangon is waiting for us!

The Ruiguang gold Pagoda in Yangon is absolutely a landmark building. You can see it everywhere in the city of Yangon. After all, it stands on the mountain with a large area and conspicuous color! Even in our hotel can be seen from afar!

Ruiguang gold pagoda has entrances in four directions. There are two huge stone lions at the main entrance. You can only reach the platform by climbing more than 100 marble steps. We are not so devout, after all, the weather is too hot, chose an elevator entrance.

Under the huge bodhi tree, monks and believers chant and pray devoutly.

In addition to the outer layer of the main tower, Ruiguang gold pagoda is wrapped with gold foil, and the top of the tower is also inlaid with numerous gems.

Wait for sunset in Ruiguang gold pagoda, return to the hotel for a drink and finish our trip to Yangon. Although short, but profound! Because, I got heatstroke!

Travel diary: Pugan, the land of Ten Thousand Buddhas, fulfill my long cherished wish

Although our time is limited, we still have two days left for Pugan! After all, this is the place I most look forward to before I come here! It's always my yearning to watch the hot-air balloon rising slowly, with thousands of stupas. However, before I came, I was drenched in a basin of cold water by Sophie... In the hot summer, there is no hot air balloon! Mom, I want to go home..... The itinerary that I ordered by myself has to come on my knees. Ah, as I have said, the itinerary that I ordered by patting my forehead can only bear its own fruit. Without the hot-air balloon, Pugan's beautiful image is always flawed. In addition, we can't climb the pagoda. We can only shoot some humanistic films in the hot sun! Therefore, when we arrived at Pugan by early morning flight, we chose nyaung u market as our first stop. Places like the market must be the best choice to embody the humanities. Because it's a local market, not a scenic spot, there are no tourists in the whole market. Only local residents are selling all kinds of goods, including vegetables, fruits and meat, as well as all kinds of Myanmar's special goods.

When there is no business, the local people will have a good sleep at the stall and enjoy their leisure time.

By the way, Myanmar's local residents especially like to use the yellow powder made of local trees - "Turner card" to smear their faces and hands, so as to prevent sunscreen and repel mosquitoes. Many hotels offer this kind of trees and grinding tools that can grind yellow powder, so that tourists can make their own Turner cards. Sophie wanted to buy tenaka, and finally bought a box Turner card in this market, which only needs a little water to smear every day.

Sophie and I bought a local apron, cage base, at the market, so that we could go into the temple and take photos! The cage base here is quite cheap. It's about 50 yuan a piece after bargaining. I bought more than 200 pieces in Sri Lanka's shops. My heart hurts! After visiting the bazaar, you will have a clock out tour of the pagodas. After all, the most popular Pagoda in Bugan is the pagoda capital of Myanmar. It is said that there were more than ten thousand pagodas in its heyday. Bugan city retains many pagodas and temples built in various historical periods of Myanmar. The architectural art of the pagodas and temples in the city is the epitome of Myanmar's ancient architectural art, reflecting the wisdom and creativity of Myanmar's working people, It has become a precious historical and cultural heritage of Myanmar. Pugan has experienced more than 900 years of vicissitudes. Historical changes and earthquake disasters have made its past glory no longer. However, the 2000 Buddhist pagodas and relics still preserved today are witnessing history and attracting tourists. The first and the most spectacular one is shwezigon pagoda Ruixi palace pagoda. The Burmese people really like the glittering pagoda. This kind of pagoda is similar to the one in Rangoon. In a word, it blinds me!

But the tourists here are not as many as Ruiguang gold pagoda, probably because it was too hot when we came here. I walked on the ground for a while and smelled the smell of meat!

Htilominlo pahto, the second Buddhist temple of clock in, should have been damaged in the earthquake and is still under repair with green cloth on the top.

The temples in Bugan really cure obsessive-compulsive disorder, or Myanmar. There are four symmetrical Buddha statues in almost all temples. In the four directions of the temple, all kinds of passages are also very symmetrical.

Our lunch was at the Riverside Restaurant on the Irrawaddy River. The food was not very good, but the scenery was good~

In the afternoon, because it was too hot, when the hotel was paralyzed to dusk, we set out in a pony. The carriage tour of Bugan is a project that we can't miss!

Because I can't climb the pagoda, I can only go to the small earth slope to shoot the sunset. My vision is seriously limited. But I can't help it. I can only shoot it at will!

Fortunately, the sunset didn't let us down. At this time, we came to a can of Burmese beer. Suddenly, the exhaustion of the whole day was gone!

Every time you come to a place, it's also necessary to visit the local handmade industry. For example, it's very interesting to watch the production process of palm sugar in toddy palm planting palm trees. Local residents would climb up tall palm trees, take the sugar from them, distill it and make it into palm sugar.

Burmese cattle are very special, especially those with humps, but I don't know if they store water and nutrients like camels.

After processing, palm sugar is such a small brown sugar pill~

At the end of the visit to the palm tree, I opened it, and then I started to brush the temple, the first temple in Pugan the next day, and my favorite temple on this trip, dhammayangyi temple

Today, I put on the 200 yuan cage base I bought in Sri Lanka and took the traditional Burmese paper umbrella. I think I walk with wind!

The temple is still a cure for obsessive-compulsive disorder. There are symmetrical Buddhas on all sides, and every place in the building is symmetrical.

My favorite photo of this trip was sent to brother Gua after shooting, saying: you see, I'm beautiful today!

Ananda temple, the second temple that clocked in the next day, has a beautiful appearance and a pond that is especially suitable for taking photos.

Ananda temple has a long history. It is the most complete and beautiful Buddhist temple in Pugan. It is also known as the first Pagoda in Pugan. Its construction technology has greatly surpassed the previous pagodas, and the unique style of Myanmar has been integrated into the construction. Among the four tall Buddha statues located in four directions, two of them were preserved before. The craft is very exquisite. Looking from a distance, you can feel the Buddha smiling. When you walk in, you can feel very dignified. However, two of them were damaged in the earthquake and were restored by later generations, so we can see which two Buddha statues were newly built at a glance!

Visit a complete Ananda temple, Pugan pagoda clock out is over! Although there are so many pagodas and temples not to go, I also want to leave a little regret, and come again in the next hot air balloon season, and continue to brush the pagodas and temples well. Of course, it's necessary to come to Myanmar and watch a traditional puppet show. It's my first time to watch a puppet show in a foreign country!

The name of the restaurant is NANDA restaurant and puppet show. The food in the restaurant is good. The most important thing is to watch puppet shows.

The whole puppet show takes about an hour. To be honest, I don't know much about history, so I don't understand it very well. However, it's a process of experience for laymen to watch the show.

Travel diary: uben bridge without sunset, Mandalay

The most urgent place this time is Mandalay. If it wasn't for the sunset of uben bridge, it could have been omitted. After thinking about it, I decided to come here. Unfortunately, God wasn't moved by me. We came here so roundly and gave me a rainy day. Another early morning flight from Bugan to Mandalay. The advantage of getting up early is that the day is very long, We can do a lot of things, but we only visited two temples in Mandalay that we had to go to. Mahamuni pagoda mahamuni pagoda is located 3 km south of the city center of Mandalay. It is famous for its four meter high bronze gilded Buddha statue, which is said to have been polished by the Buddha.

As for the temple, it's basically to watch the believers pay the gold. The dense female believers sit outside praying devoutly, while the male believers can go into the main hall to watch the process of paying the gold up close. I saw such a scene, originally wanted to take the gold process, suddenly put down the camera in my hand, I didn't even have the qualification to go in to take pictures. Ha ha ~ I can't help sighing that all living beings are still unequal, at least in Buddha's place, men and women are still unequal!

At noon, Sophie and I are two candidates. We can see a restaurant in the ancient city of Mandalay eating Chinese food. No matter how much we go out, it is also a Chinese stomach. In the past, no matter where we go, we never feel that we are not used to eating. In recent years, I have been going out frequently, and I can't do without chili noodles and chili sauce. I have to put everything I eat, or I can't eat. Sure enough, the more I go out, the more patriotic I am.

In the afternoon, we went to kuthodaw pagoda gudu taofo pagoda. Before we arrived, it began to rain. Sophie and I were staring at the sky in a daze, thinking that today's uben bridge was ruined. Gudu pottery pagoda is located between Mandalay mountain and Mandalay palace, not far from shandamuni temple. Because this pagoda is a group of white pagodas, it's very nice to take photos. It's just that God is not beautiful. We can only take a few photos in the rain. Travel really needs some luck. Of course, if you come out more, you will be relieved. It's impossible to be a sunny baby 365 days a year.

The rain is still falling, originally thought of Wuben bridge to rent a small wooden boat to go out to watch the sunset, this also save, can only take a picture at will. There is no sunset in the uben bridge, I also have the right to play a card!

Although it's the off-season in Myanmar and it's raining, there are no fewer people at uben bridge, and there are still so many people coming out in small wooden boats. I think everyone must have a "come all come" mentality. I hope next time the uben bridge won't disappoint me any more, but I specially fly to watch the sunset. My mentality is a bit broken.

Travel diary -- moving yinlai lake, take my heart away

I'm very grateful that there are always some surprises during the journey, especially the places that I didn't expect before I started, and finally they all become the treasure in my heart. For example, the Iji Peninsula in Japan, kamiyin in the Philippines, and lake innlay in Myanmar. From Mandalay to Heihe airport, which is nearest to yinlai lake, it takes almost half an hour by car to reach the lake side of yinlai lake. Then, our means of transportation turned into a boat. Before we got on the boat, the boatman told us the precautions, and asked us not to stand up excitedly when taking pictures, otherwise the boat would easily turn over, and Sophie and I subconsciously protected the camera... People can turn over, but the camera can't! When it comes to taking a boat, because the traffic of yinlai Lake depends on the boat, we have been on the boat for quite a long time, so we have experienced countless storms on the boat. Everyone is curling up with umbrellas, and they dare not look out. Their buttocks are wet when they are sitting, not to mention how embarrassed they are. Even so, after every rainy day, I still feel that yinlai lake is really beautiful. By the way, I forgot to say that one of my favorite things about yinlai lake is that it's so cool here. Whether it's Rangoon, Bugan or Mandalay, I always want to travel with air conditioning on my back every day. Yinlai lake is a place with its own air conditioning. Even the wind is like a refrigerator! You said, how can such a place not love!

Yinlai lake makes me feel a bit like xianbena. There are small wooden houses on the water everywhere. The local people also look like Bayao people

At noon, you can watch the local dragon boat racing performance, which is carried out in the lake. There are also boating to sell all kinds of goods by the lake. It's really a nation living on the water.

Dragon boat race is a local characteristic, which is very exciting. The two teams have to compete three times, and the winner is the most~

The local people are all single footed rowers, skilled rowers!

The winning team will dance to celebrate. The folk dance here has the feeling of Japanese dance. It's said that it was influenced by the Japanese colonial period.

Come and take a picture with the champions. It's really interesting! The first time to watch dragon boat race in reality!

After watching the dragon boat race, I'm going to visit the nearby. Phaungdaw OO pagoda five Buddha Temple. Along the way, I pass the local residents' home. This mother-in-law is also super cute!

It's another shining pagoda~

Inside is also resplendent!

To tell you the truth, I'm a little tired. I've been to too many pagodas and temples these days. Now every place turns around with a punch card, and I don't even have the idea of concave shape! After coming out of
