Private Maldives

This island country in the Indian Ocean is worthy of the word "paradise".   Here has the continuous beach, the blue sea water, not stingy sunshine!

I've heard too many praise words from others, and I'm used to the beautiful pictures all over the page. I can't say enough blue sky and white clouds, and I can't think of enough fish leaping and birds flying! If you want to stay away from the noise of the world, come to Maldives, where there are only white sand and green water; If you want to experience romance with your lover, come to Maldives, where there is no lack of romance! The islands here seem similar, but each has its own subtlety. Before you come, all you need to prepare is to carefully choose a favorite island for yourself. Romantic atmosphere, activity arrangement, luxury degree, diving conditions and so on are the basis of your choice. Don't worry, any island here can give you a white beach, brilliant sunshine and blue sea.

Let's talk about my choice this time. This time I went to Maldives and chose Bandos   Island   Resort  &  Spa. This is an island only half an hour away from male airport. Because I love diving, so diving conditions as the first choice; Secondly, Maldives is really not a cheap resort. The price is close behind. It's better to be a vibrant place. As for the rest, there's really no choice. Bandos seems to be the best choice, the largest resort in Maldives, opened in 1972 and renovated after 2004. It has beautiful reefs, abundant coral, fish, turtles and sharks. At the same time, the restaurants and bars here have different theme parties every day, which are suitable for killing the boring night. So I packed my bags and went to the Maldives.

The pearls of the sea are gradually emerging

Necklaces in the Indian Ocean

The plane took off on time at 12 noon. The vast tropical rain forest in Banna, the continuous snow mountains in the southwest and the mysterious South Asian subcontinent flashed by the window in turn. And then there was the sea of dead silence, endless. After flying for nearly six hours, atolls sprang out from under the clouds, and the monotonous plane finally changed color. Clusters of atolls are like gems scattered in the sea. Even if you just look at them, you will never forget them! The plane circled and descended in the sky, and clouds covered the floating islands on the sea. There are only white, green and blue in front of us. It's quiet outside the cabin, and there's already a lot of excitement inside!

I really regret not going to the capital!

Male is the capital of Maldives and the only place in Maldives that can be called a city. One third of the country's population (about 70000 people) live on this 1.5 square kilometer island. On an artificial island beside the city is male International Airport. Going to the capital is the best way to get to know a country quickly. It's a pity that this trip is too hasty to pay attention to male, so we have to make up for it next time.

A glimpse of male before landing

Male Island

Maldives is a land signing. Before landing, flight attendants will issue entry cards to fill in, and the first thing to do after getting off the plane is visa. Male airport is not big, and the Immigration Department is very easy to find. There is often a crowd, people of all colors are waiting to enter this paradise like island. The airport staff will not create difficulties, nor will they charge you a fee in disguise. They just ask a few simple questions (who do they come with, what do they do here, etc.), Will be readily covered with red palm. At this point, the door of heaven has been opened! Outside the airport, you will see a neat row of floats with the names of hotels written on them. Here is the check-in place for everyone. Each hotel will have special service personnel to receive, or by boat, or by plane to your hotel. Generally, the passengers of several adjacent flights will see them off together, so it's better for the new arrivals to report to the reception desk of the hotel you're booking immediately, so as to avoid waiting for the people who arrive at the same time.

Look at the scenery here!

Arrive at the hotel and check in. It's already five o'clock in the afternoon when all the formalities are finished. After opening the luggage in a hurry, he rushed out of the guest room and came to the seaside. At this time, the sun has been in the west, the sea breeze has become a lot of gentle, just now the snow-white clouds have been changed into colorful clothes, a grand performance started!

On the plane, I still dislike those clouds blocking my sight. Now I am really attached to them. With their decoration, today's sunset is gorgeous. After a few days are cloudless, no longer such a charming sunset. Thank you for this generous gift from Maldives!

A detailed introduction of this lovely hotel.

Let's introduce this lovely hotel. The hotel is built on a circular coral reef island with complete facilities, including a 500 seat Conference Center, four restaurants, a bar, tennis court, billiard room, spa, swimming pool, gym, diving center and water sports center. There are also child care services. It's more like a small town. The facilities of the hotel are all arranged along the beach, and the central area of the island is the garden, vegetable garden and staff area, as well as a football field,   The staff here will not mind your joining. As the work of the hotel is a shift system, some employees will spend the night on the island. In your spare time, you might as well chat with the employees after work. Their optimistic and humorous nature will be revealed immediately.

The hotel's lobby, restaurant and Conference Center are located in the southeast of the island. The lobby is connected with the wharf to facilitate the arrival of guests. The dock is a good place for children to watch fish. The light at night will attract a lot of fish, even small sharks. Remember to leave some bread for your child after dinner. He will have a good time there. The lobby is simple and generous, with information desk, lobby bar, shops and other facilities. There is a large display board in the lobby, which is worth noting. On the display board, there will be activities arranged in recent days, such as snorkeling / deep diving, sea fishing, glass boat, male tour, Aboriginal island tour, dolphin watching and seaplane sightseeing. You just need to fill in your room number and name after the activities you are interested in. These activities all need to be paid. Generally speaking, these activities are worth visiting, mainly depending on personal preferences. Let's make it clear that both the male tour and the aboriginal island tour here are free tours. The hotel is only responsible for sending you there and taking you back. There is no guide to take you shopping. You can rest assured to play, but don't miss the boat home.

The water sports center and diving center are located at the western end of the island, offering sailing and surfing. The diving center offers short trips and training courses to more than 40 top diving spots nearby. It also provides nearby reef diving, including renting a full set of equipment. The cost is about $70 and the time is 3 hours. Here, you need to make an appointment in advance and fill in a health form. Snorkeling is free here, if you have a full set of equipment (mask, breathing tube and fins). If not, you can rent it at the diving center at $7 per day. It's cheaper on a weekly basis.

There are 255 guest rooms in the hotel, which are divided into water house, beach villa, garden villa, deluxe suite and standard room. The most luxurious water house costs $900 a day, with only two rooms; The price of a standard house with more than 70 units is $300 a day. Except for the garden villa, all the rooms here are facing the sea. I chose the cheapest standard room this time. The interior decoration of the room is more modern, and all the facilities are available. With such beautiful scenery, what if the room is not so luxurious( In fact, there is no money, ha ha!)

sandy beach

The island is surrounded by a white sand beach, which is fine and soft. Although slightly narrow, but can not ignore her beauty. After this beauty, you will find the faint scar. In most of the beaches on the island, you can't ignore that the beach doesn't slowly extend into the sea, but has an obvious barrier. This may be the result of the tsunami in 2004, or the result of global warming, rising sea levels and beach erosion. Once those vague words, at this moment become dazzling. Or that sentence: low carbon life, starting from me. Some things are not just slogans for people on the other side of the earth!

If you don't look at the beautiful coral reefs, what are you doing in Maldives!?

See the other side of Maldives! Snorkeling is the first step. If you don't go underwater, you'll miss half the beauty. Snorkeling is very simple, as long as you can swim. Snorkeling equipment is also very simple, in addition to what was said before, there is also one essential - a Lycra fabric T-shirt. This will protect your back from sunburn! The reef on the island where the hotel is located is generally the first choice for snorkeling. If the hotel you choose doesn't have one, you have to go out and look for it. What is housing reef? Well, in terms of shape, coral reef islands are very similar to volcanoes. The protruding island is the crater, and the house reef is the hillside outside the crater. Here, the depth will increase abruptly, like a cliff, covered with all kinds of corals. Rent an underwater camera before you go into the water. It's a memorable moment!

Snorkeling

Coral reef

Snorkeling seems simple, but if you are not careful, it will still be very dangerous. First, protect yourself. 1. Sun protection. Do it well, or you will become a prawn in one afternoon. 2. Don't snorkel alone. Be sure to let people know where you are snorkeling. Colorful clothing and equipment are necessary. 3. Pay attention to the tips of the hotel. Avoid the strong currents. 4. Control your curiosity. Not everything can be touched. It can not only protect ourselves, but also protect those marine creatures. Now let's talk about the protection of coral reefs. Do a responsible snorkeling! Don't stand on coral unless you are about to drown. The corals here have not recovered from the damage of the tsunami. Please don't hurt them again. 2. Don't pick up coral or shellfish. They are so cute. Don't touch those beautiful marine creatures. Although some of them look too nice, like turtles. 4. Don't feed fish casually, especially those foods that will threaten their health.

shark! It's so common to see sharks in Maldives. White fin reef shark, black fin reef shark and gray reef shark, which are small sharks less than 2 meters in length, are often seen near Fang reef. If you want to see bigger sharks, you have to go deeper. Hammerhead shark, tiger shark or even bigger - Whale Shark! It's hard to describe in words what it's like to see a shark for the first time. The first reaction should be to run for life! After that, you will find that there are many sharks here, and they are gentle. After meeting many times, the fear will subside, you will slowly fall in love with this elegant creature, and involuntarily will swim behind them. Is it safe? Small shark is also very shy, it won't let you too close, you can't swim it!

This activity is really a hard work!

Out of love for animals, going out to sea to enjoy dolphins is the only group activity I participated in. But it's far from what you think. I always feel close to dolphins, but I didn't expect it to be so far away! Generally speaking, dolphin appreciation starts from the dock at 4 p.m. and takes about half an hour to reach the open sea, then wait. Waiting for a dolphin to appear nearby, and then it's dogged by the dolphins! Guests from several nearby hotels will be brought here. They will search for dolphins on the sea and chase them together. Dolphins don't seem to like people's enthusiasm. They always jump up for a short time and then disappear quickly. A few minutes later, it appeared in another place and quickly disappeared before the ship arrived. This activity is really not suitable for the elderly. See Synonyms at this activity, because all of us have to toss in the sea for 2 hours under the guidance of dolphins, so we can imagine the physical consumption. Please think twice before you sign up!

Look! dolphin! This is my hard 2 hours to shoot, those beautiful back. In addition to the real dolphins and bottlenose dolphins, we can also see the rare swirling dolphins here. They will jump out of the water and rotate 360 degrees around their bodies. Very rare to see!

After five days in this beautiful island, in retrospect, those who can suddenly stir up small ripples in your heart are not the blue sky, white clouds, blue sea and sand beaches, but the delicate ornaments and unexpected surprises. Is the coral on the beach, is the orchid on the branch, is the lizard on the path, is also the heron! The beauty here is quiet, so quiet that you mistakenly think that she will always be with you. It's only when you turn around that you find the painful Acacia coming.

What a beautiful orchid! Whenever I see them, I think of one person - Ali. Ali is a gardener of the hotel, responsible for orchid breeding. One day, he asked me to visit his garden. When he learned that I was a Chinese tourist, he hoped that I could help him find a Chinese manufacturer's product catalog, which was a manufacturer of gardening tools. I readily agreed, but I didn't know how to find that factory after I returned home. I'm sorry that I agreed so firmly at that time. If someone goes to Bandos, I hope you can go to orchid garden to say sorry for me! By the way, did he get my postcard.
